It is the policy of this Association to comply with the federal and state anti-trust laws. The Association will not discuss any matters that might be perceived as contrary to these laws, such as individual company rate filings or underwriting standards, withdrawal from the market, future business plans or other competitively-sensitive practices.

The Association, may, however, discuss and agree on coordinated support for or opposition to legislation, joint participation in proceedings before the state insurance department, and the general impact of legislation or regulation on the marketplace.

VISION:
The Missouri Association of Health Plans (MASHP) represents membership companies’ interests with government decision makers and other stakeholders, with the goal of improving Medicaid program services and the health of our customers, while contributing to the overall business success of member companies.

• Share and discuss concerns, issues and ideas about Medicaid, Missouri MC+ Managed Care program and the managed care industry.
• Organize members to respond to government and market issues and to resolve problems.
• Become a single powerful face and voice to represent members; interest both with government and market decision makers and stakeholders.
